Truth may be impossible to prove but in seeking, it must be
regarded as precious, priceless and sacred beyond measure.

James Webster - an inspiration.
James Webster was born in Tonbridge, Kent, England in 1935 and passed over in 2024. From an early age he became interested and fascinated by the mysteries of life and has spent over 50 years in research, enquiry and discovery from much personal experience.

Being born in what would be recognised as a "haunted house", a paranormal phenomenon was soon experienced. He later turned to practising the skills of conjuring, and with membership to The Magic Circle he spent some years as a professional artiste touring the Theatres and Clubs and appearing on Television shows with his magic act. This proved to be a valuable asset when he came to investigate the Paranormal in more depth and segregate the 'TRUE from the FALSE.'

Shirley and James Webster, the original co-founders of The Abu Trust.
Having read and studied the Sciences, Philosophy, Psychology, Parapsychology, and many more paranormal Subjects, the jackpot question had always remained in his mind; what happens to us when we die?

And what reliable evidence do we have to answer this profound question involving every person on Earth? Survival of the individual consciousness and personality after  physical death of the body is at the centre of this question, and is the principle factor in the author's main interest with Spiritual Science.

James Webster wrote and published many articles and papers and in his book that he hoped would give a general appeal as an interesting read, as well as a reference work, but more importantly to offer enlightenment to many.

James Webster - The Case Against Reincarnation: A Rational Approach

There are a mass of books promoting the belief in reincarnation or presenting pros and cons of the theory.

They usually leave more questions unresolved and confuse the reader even further.

James Webster spent over fifty years researching, he had no problem in accepting that we all survive physical death with certain opportunity to reunite with loved ones and friends who have previously passed over. Also that progress through Finer Spiritual Planes at our own pace, what he did not accept is an increasingly popular concept of returning to live again (perhaps many times) on Earth in another physical body.

In this book James presented his case against reincarnation with fine backup evidence from a wide input, past and present-to provide the reader with a wealth of information to guide them out of the reincarnation Jungle and into the light of more positive and acceptable understanding. This most engrossing book will help so many in the dark.

Testimonials

I certainly endorse Life Is For Ever and hope it will be the forerunner of further books by James Webster in the future.
Alan E. Crossley, Runcorn Cheshire.

Have received your book and found it most interesting. It is a real 'gem' which is worth recommending.
Ed Jockin, Holland.

Have no hesitation in saying this is one of the most able and interesting books, The Case Against Reincarnation. It becomes quite impossible for any thinking person to accept the doctrine of reincarnation, I have been waiting a long time for a book as good as this.
 Mrs Harley, Llangollen.

Congratulations upon a very good book. I think that it is unique in that you introduce the sincere seeker into the many paths from which he may choose to direct his further inquiry. This is something often lacking in other books about death and what happens next. Now each reader can follow the path that most appeals to them. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will not hesitate to recommend it to others.
Idwal Gray, Gwent.

This book will offer enlightenment to all that read it. My wife and I both read the book, it is one of those that once picked up and does not want to be put down. I found myself reading it and re-reading it. Congratulations James. Apart from being an extremely good book to read it also serves as a reference book. It is definitely a book which makes it a number one in my view to put on your shopping list.
